Homemade Play-dough-lkkmsgramma

 

2 cups flour

1 cup salt

4 tsp, cream of tartar

2 cups water

2 tbsp. vegetable oil

food coloring


 

Mix ingredients together in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until it forms a ball. It turns from opaque to translucent when it is done. Knead and add desired food coloring while still warm. It keeps forever if it is in an airtight container.

 

PICKLED EGGS-Tatonkamama

 

2 cups brown vinegar

1 cup Water

2 tablespoons Prepared Mustard

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Pepper

1/2 cup Sugar

Minced Garlic if you like it.

You'll need 3 dozen Hard boiled Eggs peeled and a Gallon jar with good cover

Heat the brine together and pour over Eggs in jar. 

Cover an refrigerate for at least a week before you start in on them...

they are addicting and go well with a cold Beer.............

 

POPCORN BALLS-hey_you64468

 

melt 2 sticks of butter in pan and to that add 3 -10 ounce miniature marshmallows

pop about 4 to 5 bags of microwave extra butter popcorn and then put about a bag and a half in large bowl .

add to that some marshmallow mixture after you have melted it and then put butter 

on your hands and make into balls. continue doing that till all corn is gone.          

 

OYSTER  CRACKERS-hey_you64468

 

 2 packages of oyster ,put in large bowl, to that add 1 pkg of ranch dressing mix the dry mix,

1 tsp dill weed, half tsp of garlic powder and 1 cup of oil. stir real good and let sit for about an hour.

 I add a little more garlic as i like garlic so it is up to you how much garlic you want. 

I also put in warm oven for 5 to 10 min. but that's up to you.

 

Armadillo Eggs-Tatonkamama
 
2 dz. fresh Jalapeno Peppers  (try to match size wise)
24 slices Kraft Cheddar cheese
24 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
2 # Pork Sausage
2 C. (seasoned or unseasoned)
 
Make lengthwise slit in peppers and remove seeds
Cut cheese slices about 1/4 inch wide (Stuff 1 strip each cheese into peppers.
Mold a portion of sausage firmly around each pepper forming a ball shape.
Roll balls in bread crumbs
Deep fry till golden brown
makes 2 doz
