Popcorn Treat

S'mores Cones

S'mores Cones-Lynn Gordon

1 sugar cone per person

1 caramel cube per cone

Handful of chocolate chips per cone

1 large marshmallow per cone

Place the sugar cones in drinking glasses, pointy end down.  Place the caramels in the bottom of each cone.  Add the chocolate chips, and top each cone with a marshmallow.

Microwave on high for 15 seconds.  Watch what happens to the marshmallow!!!  This is so cool to do with toddlers-they love to watch it cook.

Popcorn Treat-Tatonkamama

2 cups popping corn (enough so you have 6 to 8 quarts of popped corn.....)

You need a big roasting pan for this mess.....

Pop your corn and set aside

then combine in a saucepan:

2 cups Brown sugar packed

2 sticks Butter equal to 1 cup

1/2 cup Dark KARO syrup

simmer this for Five minutes..

Remove from stove and add 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda (Be careful, it foams up!)

stir well and pour over the popped corn you have put in roasting pan.. Mix well...

it's messy to work with but well worth it........Bake at 250* that's right 250* for one hour..

gently stir this in oven about every 15 minutes to get caramel even over popped corn

Remove from pan while warm gently break apart some and let it cool completely.....

This freezes in Gallon size bags but in all the years I made it, it never made it to the freezer..

This is also one of those addictive things.. You cannot eat just a small handful.....

GOOBLE-DEE-GOPS-Tatonkamama

1 Bag large marshmallows
1 Box Rice Krispies
1 package Kraft Caramels
1/2 Cup Butter or Oleo
1/2 Cup Eagle Brand condensed milk

Melt together the caramels and Eagle Brand condensed milk stirring constantly.

Take a buttered fork, stick a marshmallow and roll in caramel mix then into Rice Krispies,

Line up on waxed paper.. Sloppy to make-they freeze perfectly-this recipe will use the

whole bag of Marshmallows up. (They are so good it will make you want to slap your Gram maw)
